Fire Door Manufacturer and Supplier in India
A fire door is not a joinery item. It is a tested assembly — leaf, frame, intumescent seal and hardware — that has to hold a compartment closed for its full rated period while the fire behind it develops. Indian Fire Engineering Services manufactures fire rated doors to IS 3614 under an active BIS licence, with furnace test reports from the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee.
Fire ratings we supply
- FD60 — 60 minute integrity, the standard requirement for corridors, staircase lobbies and service shafts in most occupancies.
- FD120 — 120 minute integrity, specified for compartment walls, plant rooms, electrical substations and high-risk storage.
- 2 hour fire rated door configurations in single-leaf, double-leaf and vision-panel variants.
Why specifiers choose a certified fire resistant door
Uncertified steel doors are routinely sold as fire proof doors. They look identical on site and fail in the first ten minutes of a real fire. Every door we despatch carries its BIS licence reference, a CBRI furnace test report and a compliance file that can be submitted directly with your fire NOC application.
What affects fire door price
Cost is driven by the rating, the leaf construction, the glazing area and the hardware schedule — not by the door size alone. A single-leaf FD60 flush door and a double-leaf FD120 door with a 0.5 m² vision panel are very different products. Send us the door schedule and we will quote line by line rather than at a blanket rate.
