Acoustic Fire Door

The IFES Acoustic Fire Door is a specialist composite door delivering simultaneous 120-minute fire resistance and certified acoustic insulation in a single assembly — eliminating the need for separate fire and acoustic door specifications. Manufactured with a 140×90 mm hardwood frame and 77 mm thick shutter, the door incorporates a specialist multi-component sealing system: special astragal seal for the meeting stile, perimeter intumescent and acoustic seals on all four sides, and a mortise drop-down automatic bottom seal for full threshold sealing.

Tested and rated per BS:476 Part 22 for fire resistance, the IFES acoustic fire door is specified for boardrooms, hotel guest rooms, hospital wards, recording studios, performing arts facilities, conference centres, and any building space requiring both fire compartmentation and sound isolation.
