Indian Fire Equipment Systems supplies fire doors and allied products to project sites across India. This policy explains how orders are packed, dispatched and delivered, and what is expected at the receiving end.

1. Delivery Coverage

We deliver to metro cities, tier-2 cities and project sites across all Indian states through established road transport partners. Delivery to remote or restricted-access locations may require additional time and freight, which will be advised in advance.

2. Dispatch Timelines

  • Standard-size doors from ready stock are normally dispatched within 3 to 7 working days of order confirmation.
  • Made-to-order and project quantities are dispatched as per the schedule confirmed in the quotation or purchase order.
  • The timeline starts from the date of drawing and door schedule approval together with receipt of the agreed advance, not from the date of enquiry.
  • Where a project is dispatched in phases, each phase is scheduled against the approved release plan.

3. Freight, Packaging and Insurance

  • Unless the quotation states otherwise, prices are ex-works and freight is charged at actuals or as separately quoted.
  • Doors are supplied in protective wrapping, with edge protection and, where required, on pallets or in crates suited to road transport.
  • Transit insurance is arranged only where expressly agreed and charged in the order. In its absence, goods travel at the buyer’s risk once handed to the transporter.

4. Delivery, Site Access and Unloading

  • Unloading at site, including labour, forklift or crane where required, is the buyer’s responsibility unless included in the order.
  • The site must be accessible to the vehicle type advised and ready to receive material on the agreed date. Detention, demurrage or re-delivery charges caused by site delays are payable by the buyer.
  • Any statutory site entry permission, gate pass or e-way documentation required at the destination must be arranged by the buyer in advance.

5. Inspection at Delivery

Please check quantity and condition before signing the transporter’s lorry receipt. Record any shortage or visible damage on the transporter’s copy and inform us in writing within 48 hours with photographs, as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Storage at Site

Fire doors must be stored flat or upright on a level surface, clear of the ground, in a dry and covered area, away from water, plaster and welding work until installation. Damage caused by improper storage at site is not covered under warranty.

7. Documentation Supplied

Every consignment is dispatched with the tax invoice, e-way bill where applicable, and a packing list. BIS licence copies, CBRI test certificates, warranty statements and compliance documents for fire NOC submission are provided with the consignment or on request.

8. Delays Beyond Our Control

Delivery dates are given in good faith. We shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including transport strikes, road closures, weather, raw material shortage or any act of government.
