Indian Fire Equipment Systems (IFES) manufactures a portfolio of specialised doors to meet these exacting requirements.

Steel Lead-Lined Doors

Designed for radiology departments, X-ray rooms, CT scan suites, radiotherapy treatment rooms, and nuclear medicine facilities, IFES lead-lined doors provide certified radiation attenuation in compliance with AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) and DRS (Department of Radiological Safety) requirements. Construction: 100×57 mm GI frame, 44 mm shutter infilled with 2 mm lead sheet, single-glazed lead glass vision panel (200×300 mm). The lead content and lining configuration are calculated based on the radiation energy, occupancy factor, and workload of the specific installation — IFES provides radiation shielding calculations and AERB-compliant specifications for each project.

Clean Room Doors

For pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology laboratories, hospital operation theatres, food processing clean rooms, and microelectronics facilities, IFES clean room doors provide airtight, hygienic, and contamination-controlled access. Construction: IFES 100×50 mm GI frame, 44 mm shutter with 0.8/1 mm GI skin, honeycomb/PUF/mineral wool infill options, double-glazed glass panel, and automatic drop-down bottom seal for full threshold sealing. Smooth, joint-free surfaces resist bacterial growth and withstand frequent chemical cleaning without degradation.

PUF Panel Doors

Polyurethane foam (PUF) sandwich panel doors with GI steel outer skins for cold rooms, cold storage warehouses, blast freezers, food processing facilities, and pharmaceutical temperature-controlled environments. Excellent thermal insulation values (U-value to specification), smooth internal surfaces, and fully sealed perimeters maintain the required temperature differentials and prevent condensation and ice formation at door edges.

Fire-Rated Fixed Partition Panels

Fire-rated fixed panel sections that integrate with IFES fire door assemblies to complete wide architectural openings in lobbies, corridors, and reception areas. 120-minute fire rating, GI steel construction, available with or without fire-rated glass. Frame profile exactly matches the adjacent fire door frame, providing a seamless, fully certified fire-rated assembly across the entire opening width.
