IFES designs, supplies, and installs complete automatic sprinkler systems and fire hydrant systems for all building categories — residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional. Our sprinkler systems cover wet pipe and dry pipe configurations as per NBC 2016 Part IV and IS:15105. Our hydrant systems include underground ring mains, terrace ring mains, fire water storage tanks, electric fire pumps, diesel standby pumps, jockey pumps, and complete pipe network with landing valves, hose reels, and fire brigade inlets.
IFES provides complete project delivery: hydraulic design calculations, statutory approval drawings for fire NOC, equipment supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation. All systems are designed and installed in compliance with NBC 2016 Part IV, the Delhi Fire Safety Act 1986, and applicable IS standards. Contact IFES for a system design proposal and quotation for your project.
Automatic sprinkler and fire hydrant systems form the active suppression layer of a building fire safety strategy, working alongside passive fire doors and compartmentation to detect, suppress, and contain fires before they grow to life-threatening proportions. NBC 2016 Part IV mandates automatic sprinklers in buildings above 15 metres in most occupancy categories, and fire hydrant systems for all buildings above a specified height or floor area.
IFES designs and installs wet pipe sprinkler systems (water-filled pipework, immediate response) and dry pipe systems (nitrogen or air-pressurised pipework for unheated spaces) as per NBC 2016 Part IV and IS:15105. Each sprinkler head activates independently at a pre-set temperature (68°C for standard response, 93°C for intermediate, 141°C for high temperature), discharging water directly onto the fire source. Statistical data consistently shows that 96% of fires are controlled by four or fewer sprinkler heads — making sprinklers the most cost-effective active fire suppression measure available.
System components: wet alarm valve assembly, sprinkler heads (pendant, upright, sidewall — concealed or exposed), flow switches, pressure gauges, inspectors test valves, main control valve, and complete MS or CPVC pipe network. Designed to IS:15105 hydraulic calculation methodology with zoned isolation valves for maintenance flexibility.
IFES designs and installs complete fire hydrant systems including underground ring main (looped or dead-end as per NBC requirements), terrace/overhead ring main, fire water storage tanks (RCC or MS, sized to NBC Part IV requirements), electric fire pump, diesel engine-driven standby pump, and electric jockey pump for pressure maintenance. Above-ground pipework with landing valves at each floor level, 63 mm and 75 mm hose connections, fire brigade inlets, and pressure-reducing valves where system pressure exceeds 6.9 bar.
IFES provides complete statutory documentation for fire NOC approval: hydraulic calculations, isometric drawings, equipment submittals, pump performance curves, and commissioning test reports — all formatted to local fire authority requirements.
